New to Guess It!? This guide takes you from install to your first win in about five minutes.
Step 1 — pick a mode
Open the app and choose how you want to play: Quick Match drops you into an online 1v1 against a real player in seconds; Vs. AI lets you practice against a computer opponent; Party mode turns one phone into a full game night.
Step 2 — understand the round
Each round, a hidden card is assigned to you — an animal, a country, a food, anything from the category you picked. You can't see it, but your opponent can. Ask yes/no questions ("Is it alive?", "Can I eat it?") to narrow it down, then guess the word before the timer runs out.
Step 3 — score and streaks
Faster guesses score more. Win rounds to climb, keep your daily challenge streak going, and add friends by code to set up rematches.
Quick rules recap
- Questions must be answerable with yes or no.
- You can guess at any time — but a wrong guess costs precious seconds.
- Categories matter: a narrow category (fruits) is easier than a broad one (anything).
